Mandwa Jetty: June 30, 2016

We were at the Mandwa jetty. Since its the monsoons the entire place was empty. Some sitting quietly catching fish on the rod. Just a few like us walking in the light drizzle without an umbrella. We had the solitude right at the tip. It was amazing how the deep sea inspite of the churn in its stomach was calm. The open bay on one side and the Mandwa village lights twinkling on one side amidst the lush greenery and drunk swinging palms. While the fear inducing waves lashing on the rocks just under the Boardwalk by Flamboyante restaurant. The location is excellent very club like. We had cappuccinos to warm ourselves and french fries. The best thing was having that magnificent jetty almost to ourselves. A memorable evening indeed. Unfortunately I left behind my cell so no pictures. Anyone visiting Alibag must visit Mandwa jetty to experience it, only this time of the year.
